Krasnodar, 18 February. The reconstruction of the seafront will reportedly be completed in Dagomys, Sochi by the beginning of the upcoming summer season.
The first stage of the reconstruction of the Dagomys Municipal Beach has already started. Up until the beginning of the season, 650 metres of the beach and the embankment from the river down to the pier will be renewed. The works will include full replacement of the stone paving, and removal of the utilities underneath the ground. The project also provides for external lighting and landscaping. All public space, including the seafront eateries, will be designed in one architectural style.
An investment project for integrated development of the area is meanwhile being conducted at Rossiyskaya Street. The investor plans to hand over to the city four facilities of transport, municipal and social infrastructure, including the supplementary education building. The project works will also include landscaping of the Western Dagomys River’s front, capital repairs of the existing motor road, installation of pavements, planting of trees and shrubs, and construction of an additional bridge for vehicles.
