Krasnodar, 22 December. The results of the year were reviewed at a session of the Board on Culture of the regional Ministry of Culture chaired by Minister Viktoria Lapina. She reported thet 453 million roubles were spent to repair and improve the facilities and equipment of community centres, childern’s arts schools, libraries, theatres and cinemas in the framework of the governmental program “Cultural Development” and the specialized national project.
The total ‘weight’ of the national project “Culture” amounted to 165 million roubles in 2021. The works that were scheduled for this year have been finished. The list of the works included overhaul repairs of three children’s arts schools in Seversky and Krasnoarmeisky rayons and in Anapa. Similar works in Krasnodar are nearing completion – nine of the ten scheduled cultural establishments have been repaired. The works in Temriuk rayon are also nearly finished. Four new-generation libraries have been opened – in Krymsk, Novorossiysk, Yeisk and Oktiabrskaya, Krylovsky rayon. The virtual concert hall was opened in Kabardinka. Three digital cinema halls will open in Novokubansk and Belorechensk rayons until the end of the year.
