Krasnodar, 9 December. More than 16 million tourists have visited the Kuban since the beginning of this year, which is equivalent to the pre-pandemic figures of 2019.
The volume of services provided this year by enterprises in the tourist industry amounted to almost 80 billion rubles, as reported the press service of the Regional Administration.
- A few years ago we said that the industry should work year-round, today that is a reality - 40% of the tourist flow accounts for the low season period - said Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.
It has become known that starting in 2022, new measures to support investments in the resort tourism sector will be introduced in the Kuban. Among such measures are subsidies for the payment of interests on loans and a zero percent rate for the property tax to apply on large resort projects.
- We are ready to support those who move the industry forward, next year we will begin to reimburse part of the due payment for interest on loans meant for the implementation of investment projects in the region, - announced the head of the Kuban. The new measure will be available to businessmen who have received loans from 100 million up to one billion rubles.
