The initiative has been announced by the Governor of the Kuban, Veniamin Kondratiev, in Anapa to attend the meeting on the modernization of children recreation infrastructure.
Said meeting was held by the Minister of Education, Sergey Kravtsov. - Today the vast majority of children’s camps are private structures. Children’ recreation is not a profitable business, so the owners can not maintain and develop the existing infrastructure in full by themselves. This is, however, an important sector, which needs support. This year we have allocated 2.3 billion rubles to prepare camps and resorts for the summer season. As a result, we were able to take to them 220 thousand children from all over the country. But to fully address the issue of infrastructure, more funding is needed. And this is burdensome for the regional budget. , - said Veniamin Kondratiev.
