Money for sports to be added

Krasnodar, 3 November. Municipal sports facilities will get additional funding. 

The corresponding project by Krasnodar Territory acting Minister for Physical Culture and Sports, Sergey Myasischev was supported by the Kuban parliament. Another 2,9 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of a network of district and village sports palaces in the framework of the state program “Development of Physical Culture and Sports”. 

Allocated funds will be used for the construction of low-budget sport halls and martial arts centers within walking distance, strengthening the material and technical base of municipal sports and physical culture organizations, plus the establishment and payment of bonuses for outstanding results in physical culture and sports to outstanding athletes and coaches of teams of the Territory. 

- It is a good gift to Kuban professional athletes, their numerous fans, and also to all who is simply engaged in sports for the sake of maintaining their shape and a healthy way of life, - said the chairman of Regional Council Yury Burlachko. - But the main point is that there will be new facilities in the region.
