Krasnodar, 13 October. The Kuban employers have reportedly formed multi-million wage arrears. The problem was raised at a session of the regional trilateral Commission on regulation of social and labour relations headed by Vice Governor Anna Minkova.
“According to recent reports of the regional Ministry of Economy, presently 88 companies owe more than 270 million roubles to their employees. The Commission on reduction of wage arrears formed by the regional authorities and composed of executives of the federal supervising and controlling institutions and trade unions, attained that 247 roubles of debts should be paid to the employees by the end of this year – including 110 million roubles by the companies declared bankrupt. However, the sum of wage arrears remains high, and we must tolerate no further delays,” Ms. Minkova said.
Marina Yefimenko, Deputy Head of the State Labour Inspection in Krasnodar krai, informed that over the nine months, their specialists conducted 277 audits of compliance with labour law. As a result, they detected 557 violations of remunerations of labour – or 20% of their total number.
