Krasnodar, 8 September. In the Krasnodar Territory the mass vaccination plan has been increased to 80%. Regional authorities announced the adjusted figures after the statement made by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
- It has been determined that we should move towards reaching a collective immunity level of at least 80%, and we have set such a vaccination goal, at least with the first stage, to be reached by November 1, 2021, - said the Deputy Prime Minister.
For Krasnodar Territory, this means that in order to achieve a collective immunity, at least 3.6 million adult residents must be vaccinated by November 2021.
According to the new figures, 52% of the plan - more than 1.8 million people - have been vaccinated in the region. This was announced at the traditional weekly briefing by Yuri Sarychev, deputy head of the Regional Ministry of Health.
- More than 1.6 million among these people have received both components of the vaccine. 16448 people have been revaccinated, - stated Yuri Sarychev.
A total of 2.1 million vaccine doses have been delivered to the region. According to the regional administration’s press service, more than 277,000 further doses are expected in the near future.
