The organization of the gas supply process was discussed last week at a meeting chaired by Vice Governor Aleksandr Trembitsky.
The works on social gas supply are to be completed by the end of 2022.
Andrei Liashko, Minister of Fuel and Energy Complex, and Housing and Utilities Sector, reported that currently interactive maps are being drawn on official websites of the gas distributors and municipalities. Using the special platform, the local dwellers may see where they should apply and what the scheduled deadlines are. In the nearest future, gas connection offices will open in every municipality.
Presently, there are 58 stationary reception points for preliminary applications work in the region.
The owners of more than 100,000 households, or 243,000 people will be able to get connected to the gas main. The pipeline will be laid free of charge till the household border. The cost of the works will be covered by the investment surplus imposed by the gas distributor.
The gas suppliers will also be able to invite money through soft loans and credits.
