Krasnodar, 1 July. Payments to local residents who suffered from natural disasters have reportedly begun in Pavlovsky rayon. The aid is to be received by approximately 1,000 persons. On June 16, the municipality was exposed to a downpour accompanied with a hailstorm. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reported to journalists how the aftermath of the storm is being overcome. “About a thousand households were exposed to the emergency situation. The bad weather damaged houses and social facilities – the roofs of the school and kindergarten, the community centre, the general practitioner’s offi ce, and the musical school. We decided to render material aid to the sufferers of the natural calamity,” Mr. Kondratiev said.
He noted that the work of the emergency operations centre and household checks were organized in the municipality.
According to the regional administration press service, the aggrieved persons will receive 10,000 roubles each for being exposed to the emergency situation, and 50,000 roubles for partial loss of their property.
