Krasnodar, 1 July. Since July 1, Kuban hotels will not admit tourists without negative PCR test or COVID-19 vaccine, and since August 1 the only choice will be to have a vaccine certificate.

This decision was taken last week by Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and voiced at a session of the regional emergency response team.

“Over the past two weeks, the sickness rate has been growing. Today over 120 [sickness] cases were registered for the first time since late March. The most efficient way to beat the threat is to form collective immunity. We have increased the vaccination speed, but a growing number of cases have been imported since the beginning of the summer season. This is why all hotels, guesthouses and spas in the region will admit only guests with a negative PCR test valid for 72 hours, or with a vaccination certificate,” Mr. Kondratiev said.

Underage tourists will not need to present vaccination certificates; the requirement to present a vaccination certificate will not spread to children’s camps and medical establishments.
