Krasnodar, 30 June. The second string of the gas pipeline Anastasievskaya – Novorossiysk will reportedly begin to be laid next year. The future plans include intensive development of the gas infrastructure in Tuapse rayon.

The second string will allow some major industrial players to modernize the infrastructure.

“[The launch of] the pipeline will fuel the reconstruction of the Afi psk, Slaviansk and Ilsk Oil Refineries and the Abinsk Electrometallurgical Factory. These companies have already concluded provisional gas supply contracts. We reckon that all agreements will be completed as scheduled,” Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev commented. By 2025, over 4 billion roubles of private funds are to be invested in the development of the regional gas infrastructure.

The current gas delivery program is to be completed by January 1, 2023. To do so, a list of 987 settlements has been compiled. Presently, about 140,000 people that live in settlements with gas infrastructure installed cannot use it so far.

A peculiar attention will be paid to Tuapse rayon, as the hardest to reach. By the end of the current year, four local gas pipelines will be built there. It will allow to provide about 900 households with natural gas. In 2022–2025, a local 17-km-long gas pipeline will be laid to Krivenkovskoe Village.
