Krasnodar, 4 June. Over the past two years, the exports of Kuban-made products to Hungary grew by 49%, Vice Governor Aleksandr Ruppel announced at a meeting with HE Mr. 

Norbert Konkoly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Russian Federation. 

“According to the results of the last year, the total trade between Krasnodar krai and Hungary amounted to USD 31 million; since the beginning of the year 2021 this sum has already exceeded USD 15.5 million. The list of commodity items is changing every year, which is why we are proposing to assume a system approach to the building of our trade relations,” Mr. Ruppel said. 

The parties distinguished a number of activities that may be promising for expansion of the partnership – localization of Hungarian enterprises in Krasnodar krai, development of advanced processing of agricultural products, cooperation in the humanitarian sector, and promotion of Kuban wines to the Hungarian market.
