Krasnodar, 18 Мау. The ‘Made in Kuban’ sign will officially be granted to more than 250 products.
The Competition Committee of the 7th Kuban Quality Competition has reportedly selected 256 products made by 99 local manufacturers. The winners will be given diplomas and the right to use the ‘Made in Kuban’ sign for two years.
The competition has been run since 2018. Since then, the regional ‘quality mark’ has been given to 925 products made by 246 manufacturers of Krasnodar krai. The winners are chosen in three nominations – Food Products, Nonfood Products, and Capital Goods.
“The contestants compete in quality, safety, up-to-dateness and uniqueness. The ‘Made in Kuban’ sign is meant to protect the buyers from poor-quality products and to give a number of preferences to the manufacturers: from lowered bank loan interests to free promotion at exhibitions and special visualization on the shelves,” Vice Governor Aleksandr Ruppel said.
