It’s Time to Stop Overpaying

Krasnodar, 5 Мау. Heating billing procedure may change in the Kuban region. 

The currently applied standard heat consumption rates in all municipalities of the region, except for Sochi, were determined based on the duration of the heating season equal to seven months – from October 1 till April 30. 

But in fact, as Kuban regional MPs stated in their request submitted to Vice Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, the necessity to set the boiler-houses working begins only in late October and ends in early April. At the same time, the accruals are calculated for full months, which makes consumer unhappy. Presently it is not possible to return the overpaid money back. 

“In our opinion, there is a possibility to reckon the two incomplete months of beginning and ending of the heating season as one calendar month. I think that Kuban dwellers would take this decision positively,” Legislative Assembly Chairman Yuri Burlachko stated.
