Krasnodar, 21 April. Since 2019, the share of cashless payments in Krasnodar krai has reportedly increased by 10%.
The Krasnodar Regional Administration and the management of the Southern Main Branch of the Bank of Russia have approved the action plan on improvement of availability of financial services in 2021. The document provides for the expansion of the infrastructure for cashless payments, development of the routes of cash banking mobile points, and establishment of remote formats of financial access.
It is also planned to expand the list of utility providers operating in rural localities, whose tickets can be paid by mobile bank applications or self-service devices.
“The aim of the project is to create comfortable conditions for Kuban residents and guests of the region. The financial products must be available not only in big cities, but also in remote settlements. It should also be understood that expanding access to financial services will involve some risks. The task of the authority, financial sector and insurance companies is to minimize the opportunities for fraudulent schemes,” Vice Governor Igor Galas said.
