Krasnodar, 7 April. The co-owners of three long-delayed construction projects will be reimbursed for their never-received apartments. The total sum of the compensation will reportedly exceed one billion roubles.
It is the shareholders of the Absolut Residential Complex in Sochi and Preobrazhensky Residential Complex in Krasnodar who will receive compensation payments, First Vice Governor Andrei Alekseyenko wrote on his page in social networks.
It was the Supervisory Council of the federal Fund for Protection of Equity Construction Investors’ Rights that had decided that further construction of these three blocks of flats would be inexpedient and that the investors should be reimbursed for their losses.
“What is at issue is the 21-storey tower block at Ostrovsky Street in Sochi (the construction company – Sochi Absolut) whose co-owners had to get their flats in 2018, and two towers of the Preobrazhensky Residential Complex in Krasnodar whose construction had to finish back in 2014. Altogether, there were 360 co-investment agreements had been concluded there, and each co-investor would receive compensation,” Mr. Alekseyenko wrote.
The total sum of payments due to the Sochi Absolut shareholders will be 939 million roubles; the co-owners of the Yevrostroi Invest LLC will receive over 152 million roubles. In the future three years, Krasnodar krai will allocate 1.7 billion roubles as a fee in the federal Fund.
