Krasnodar, 18 February. A new support technique will shortly become available for the Kuban IT industry.
Presently, about 1,500 Kuban companies are involved in information technologies. In 2020, the total volume of their services amounted to 95 billion roubles, and the total amount of their tax payments exceeded 5.2 billion roubles.
“By the results of 2020, Krasnodar krai joined the list of the twenty Russian regions with the biggest volumes of software developments,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted. “Then the first step was taken – the support of IT companies was secured at the legislative level. Now we are launching for them a specialised financial product, based on the existing support institutions.”
The ‘IT Technologies’ loan will be dispensed on preferential terms by the regional Microfinancing Fund. The project is available for existing entrepreneurs who work with information technologies. The sum of the loan may vary between 100,000 and five million roubles for the period of three months to three years.
