Krasnodar, 11 February. Four large investment projects will reportedly be implemented in the Krasnodar region by the end of this year. The construction of Great Eight Hotel and a big restaurant complex will be completed in Anapa. A new hotel and aquatic park will be built in Tuapse rayon.
Governor Veniamin Kondratiev explained the priority directions for the region’s spa and resort sector: “If the epidemiological situation remains stable, we can expect as many as 16 million tourists [in the region] this year. According to the Strategy of regional socio-economic development, by 2030 the number of holidaymakers should amount to 22 million a year.”
A peculiar attention will be paid this year to creating a comfortable environment for the holidaymakers, in particular the beaches which remain a brand identity for our resorts. In 2021, minimum five kilometres of the beachline in Anapa, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, Sochi and Yeisk will be organised according to the approved standards.
