Electric Buses to Be Assembled in Krasnodar

Krasnodar, 20 January. A trolleybus assembly plant will reportedly appear in Krasnodar. 

The main advantages of the new modern 110-passenger and 35-seat battery-powered buses will be their safety, environmental friendliness and high power efficiency. They will be furnished with a climate control with air bactericidal treatment facility. The outside panels will be made of anticorrosion materials. The trolleybuses will be equipped with automatic systems of emergency response and fire extinguishing. 

The electric buses will be produced based on a trilateral agreement signed between the manufacturing company Alkor, Krasnodar Mayor’s Office, and Krasnodar Trolleybus and Tram Administration. Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov was quoted as saying that the city authorities had been making preparations to sign the agreement for a whole year. Now the parties are proceeding to long-term cooperation.
