Krasnodar, 31 December. Development of Adyghea’s road infrastructure was the main topic of discussion during the working meeting of the regional leader Murat Kumpilov and Deputy Minister of Transport – Head of the Federal Road Agency Andrei Kostiuk, held last week in Moscow. It was noted that during the two years of implementation of the national project “Safe and high-quality motor roads,” Adyghea has achieved the desired goals. What is more, Adyghea has entered the list of the best twelve Russian regions. In the framework of the project, 69.5 km of regional and local roads were brought into line with standards ahead of this year’s schedule. Laying of asphalt concrete and other types of pavements was completed on seventy sites. Fifty-six traffic enforcement cameras were mounted over the roads this year.
Commenting on these achievements, Mr. Kumpilov said that the regiona has already begun to accomplish the 2021 plans. He also solicited opening of the financing channel for the national project activities beyond the schedule.
