Krasnodar, 17 December. The passengers of over 7,000 public service vehicles in Krasnodar have reportedly been checked for wearing face masks.
Three times a day, special teams do spot checks of the passengers, conductors and drivers of public service vehicles for availability of personal respiratory protection devices, and inform them of the necessity to wear them. By now, 23 administrative offence reports have been drawn up under Article 26 of the Russian Administrative Code, “Noncompliance with the rules of behaviour during emergency situations or threat thereof.” The offenders were 17 drivers and six passengers that were not wearing face masks.
The City Hall assured that if necessary, the passengers may be given individual protection devices in the vehicles, both municipal and commercial ones. They are also furnished with disinfectants.
The managers of the transport companies have been informed of the requirement to observe the face mask regime while on board. It is the transport company which is to be primarily held responsible for the violations. Disciplinary actions are taken against the carriers that fail to comply with the sanitary requirements.
