Krasnodar, 17 December. Sochi is getting prepared for the upcoming active winter season, despite the tense epidemiological situation.
Presently, 615 consumer establishments in the city are expecting their tourists, including 240 cafés and restaurants accommodating 16,000 visitors, located in the mountain area. “We are doing our best to make the recreation comfortable and safe. The region is open for visitors, and to let it proceed, all companies must observe the constraints introduced due to the heightened alert regime,” Vice Governor Aleksandr Ruppel said.
“We are also informing the tourists of the need to wear face masks, use sanitizers, observe social distancing, and be attentive to their state of health.”
According to a special resolution issued by the governor, no New Year corporate parties will be allowed in the region.
“From December 28 till January 10, our officers will be checking if all requirements as well as alcohol turnover law provisions are adhered to,” Roman Kurinny, Head of the regional Department for Consumer Sphere, stressed.
