Krasnodar, 8 December. The regional authorities have announced that the investments in the consumer sector rose by 22% during nine months of this year and reached 10.8 billion roubles.
Currently, sixty investment projects on whole and retail sale are being implemented in Krasnodar krai, the regional Department for Consumer Sphere stated.
“According to our forecasts, the planned volume of investments will be achieved by the end of 2020, amounting to about 15.5 billion roubles,” Department Head Roman Kurinny said.
He added that four new agreements to the total amount of 3.1 billion roubles will be concluded in the nearest future. In particular, construction contracts for a multifunctional road service zone and a sport goods hypermarket will soon be implemented in the region. The latter is deemed a large-scale investment project, which means that the investor will be able to locate the facility on a municipally owned land parcel without having to take part in biddings.
According to the anti-crisis plan developed in Krasnodar krai last August, the investors were offered additional preferences.
