Krasnodar, 3 November. The regional Department for Construction will be supervising the erection of all social facilities in Krasnodar krai, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev announced at a meeting devoted to execution of instructions.
Implementation of construction projects of social facilities was one of the key issues discussed during the meeting.
The Department will assume this competence next year. The regional administration believes that it will help better adhere to the construction deadlines in the municipalities. Presently, 26 secondary schools, nine kindergartens, and 15 sports facilities are being constructed in the region. Until the end of the year, the construction of about twenty GP offices is to be completed in the region.
At the same time, certain municipalities are running behind schedule. Say, the GP office in Morevka, Yeisk rayon was to be commissioned in November, but the level of its preparedness is only 59% so far. In Saratovskaya, Goriachy Kluch the construction of a budget-friendly sports complex has not been completed yet.
Mr. Kondratiev stressed that lack of a single system of control – because different agencies used to be responsible for the erection of public amenities – was the reason for noncompliance with construction terms.
