Krasnodar, 21 October. The President of Adygea Murat Kumpilov held a session of the Operative Staff for the Prevention of the Import and Spread of COVID-19 Infection in the Republic of Adygea. The meeting discussed the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region and the dynamics of the spread of disease. The epidemic situation in the republic has worsened.
The elderly, as well as non-working citizens, are the most affected by the disease. Many cases of infection were registered after mass events, weddings, funerals. Therefore, the burden on medical staff and laboratories is increasing.
At the meeting it was noted that the mask regime will help to significantly reduce the spread of coronavirus infection. The Head of Adygea instructed to strictly control compliance with restrictive measures and requirements. In the near future, there are plans to exclude the organization of mass banquets in cafés and restaurants, to close dance zones. In addition, it was decided to temporarily ban all sports events at the republican and municipal levels.
