Krasnodar, 14 October. Adyghean leader Murat Kumpilov has reportedly chaired over a session of the COVID-19 Import and Spread Prevention Centre in Adyghea.
Over the last week, the trend showed daily increases of the number of new COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia patients. An increase was observed among elderly patients. The situation was aggravated with the increasing number of ARVI cases. Considering the current situation, a special routing was done for the flu and coronavirus patients in the region to prevent the spread of community-acquired pneumonia. Special pneumonia wards were deployed for indoor treatment of patients with symptoms of ARVI and pneumonia without COVID-19. For the latter, about 200 in-patient beds are being opened additionally which will increase the aggregate bed capacity to 800.
Besides, the stock of medicines and personal protective devices is being replenished on a daily basis. Over 30,000 COVID tests remained in reserve. Analyses are performed every day.
