Krasnodar, 6 October. A new outburst of coronavirus sickness rate has reportedly occurred in Krasnodar krai.
Last week, the number of newly discovered COVID-19 cases exceeded a hundred, for the first time since August 9.
On October 2, 101 coronavirus cases were registered, including 24 underage patients from Krasnodar, and new patients from Seversky, Pavlovsky and Krymsk rayons.
The following day, the figure was 106, including 12 children from Krasnodar, Goriachy Kluch and Kushchevsky rayon. Then, on Sunday the figure lowered to 97, and on Monday to 95 new cases.
Because of the volatile epidemiological situation, mask mandate inspections proceeded in the region.
The special workgroups monitored public transport and places of mass gathering.
According to infection disease doctors, the upcoming flu and ARVI season may aggravate the situation with COVID-19.
It was noted that both the morbidity rate and the number of lethal cases are growing.
The epidemiological situation is worsening mainly due to the inobservance of necessary safety precautions, the regional crisis centre reminded.
