Krasnodar, 29 September. The epidemiological situation in the city of Krasnodar and in the Krasnodar region remains tense but stable, Svetlana Kharlamova, Head of the Public Health Care Department of the City Administration, stated speaking at a recent weekly planning brief. In addition to that, coronavirus cases are being registered in some Krasnodar schools.
“Regretfully, we are not recording a disease level decline yet. This is why observance of all requirements must be not just a discipline in a working team but everyone’s basic premise,” she noted.
Ms. Kharlamova said that seasonal inflectional diseases have begun to accompany COVID-19. According to her, a flu outbreak is to be expected in the second half of November. The simultaneous circulation of two viral agents in the air may make this autumn and winter especially menacing.
According to the regional Ministry of Health Care, on Monday, September 28, 96 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the region. The new patients are seven months to 84 years of age, including 24 kids between seven months and seventeen years of age living in Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Yeisk.
