Krasnodar, 17 September. Korenovsk rayon’s rank rose by five places since 2015 in the level of socio-economic development – from the 20th place up to the 15th.
The volume of this year’s municipal budget is expected to be at 2.1 billion roubles, by 15% higher than last year. The stable high incomes of the local budget are allowing the municipality to encourage regional money under co-financing conditions to settle social tasks. Korenovsk will get 1.8 billion roubles in subsidies and grants this year to cover, among others, the construction of educational and medical facilities.
“Korenovsk rayon has of late turned into a large construction site: it includes a school and a kindergarten erected under national projects, and a big hospital of a regional significance. All these projects are to be completed by the end of this year,” Vice Governor Anna Minkova stressed.
Besides, the regional Road Fund has assigned about 500 million roubles to Korenovsk to finance road works.
