Mandatory Marking for New Product Groups

Krasnodar, 15 September. Over 60% of footwear manufacturers and sellers in Krasnodar krai, which is over 2,100 companies, have joined the new system of mandatory marking of these products, the regional administration’s press service released. It was also noted that the Kuban region came the fifth in the latest weekly rating of the growth of the number of companies connected to the system. 

According to Roman Kurinny, Head of the regional Department of Consumer Sphere, the region continues to hold leading positions among Russian regions on the number of registered participants in the system of mandatory marking of all groups of products connected to the system. 

“Our region ranks the third on the number of manufacturers and sellers of tobacco products connected [to the system]. Nearly 55%, or 5,400 companies have joined it in the region,” Mr. Kurinny said. Throughout the country, more than 62,500 companies engaged in the tobacco business have reportedly joined the system.
