Krasnodar, 9 September. Last week, the Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev visited the Saturn Factory where he inspected the aircraft batteries production line.
The production of lithium-ion batteries for aircraft engines was launched at the expense of the regional and federal Production Development Funds. The financing coverage amounted to 100 million roubles. It is a fully automated hi-tech line that produces lithium-ion batteries with a prolonged life – up to five years.
It will help significantly reduce the operating expenses of consumers – aircraft makers and repairers.
At the factory, the regional leader was told about the construction of a solar water header. Mr. Kondratiev noted that it may become a highly sought-after product in rural localities as well as at the seaside.
Director General Oleg Plankevich reported that the aggregate cost of the products manufactured in 2019 exceeded 1 billion roubles.
