Krasnodar, 8 September. Starting from September 12, new subsistence level will be introduced in Krasnodar krai. Its per capita amount will be 11,397 roubles (cf. 10,805 roubles in the first quarter of the year).
The subsistence level for able-bodied population will be 12,298 roubles (earlier – 11,675 roubles); for pensioners – 9,375 roubles (earlier – 8,493 roubles); for underage persons – 11,114 roubles (earlier – 10,398 roubles). These sums are valid for the second quarter of the year. Subsistence level is one of the main socio-economic indicators used to evaluate people’s life level.
Its amount is established on a quarterly basis based on the data on currnet prices for food products, other goods and services, as well as mandatory payments and fees, released by the regional Directorate of the Federal Statistics Agency, the regional Ministry of Labour and Social Development stated.
Besides, employers also have to take into account the subsistence level – the first class wage or position salary may not be lower than it.
