Krasnodar, 26 August. Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev had a meeting with inhabitants of Tikhoretsk rayon to discuss the ways of development of the municipality.
The list of high-priority social projects in the rayon includes the construction of a swimming pool, marital arts gym, track-and-field gym in the city of Tikhoretsk, and a budget-friendly gym in the village of Fastovetskaya. When put into operation, these facilities will allow to increase the number of local dwellers actively involved in sports, which is a major aim of the national project “Demography.”
Mr. Kondratiev instructed the municipal head to prepare all necessary documents to include the construction of these sports centres in regional programs.
Another topic for discussion was the problem of health care development in the municipality. The local leader reported that owing to the support of the regional authorities, a number of problems were resolved over the past few years – in particular, the infectious diseases ward of the Festovetskaya Hospital, subsidiaries of the adult and children’s outpatient hospitals in Tikhoretsk, and Arkhangelskaya Hospital underwent capital repairs.
