Krasnodar, 21 August. All 35 cruises of the Prince Vladimir liner scheduled for this year have been cancelled due to the unclear situation with removing the constraints introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection. At the same time, the press release stated that the ship owners lack understanding of why they should suspend the work in the midst of the season.
“The heightened alert regime has been prolonged until 21 August. Now the season in Sochi is at its height – all resort facilities, chain hotels and spas offering the complete list of treatment and recreation services are working; the beaches, restaurants and catering facilities are open,” the release stated.
It was planned that the 2020 navigation should be the longest-continued since the cruise traffic across the Black sea had been resumed. From 1 March until 31 October, the cruiser was to do 35 passages, but on 22 March the navigation was stopped due to the quarantine announced by the region’s governor.
