Sales of Farming Machines Grow

Krasnodar, 20 August. Sales volumes of farming equipment have of late become fifty percent bigger. 

Altogether, there are over 30 enterprises belonging to the farm machine industry in Krasnodar krai. Some of them continue to increase their export supplies. For instance, Optselmash Plant has for the past four years held a big part of the national market, driving out even some larger companies. Its sales market encompasses Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and – since recently – Serbia. 

“Five years ago, we could only dream that we would have such a [big] production of agricultural machines in our region. Now we have a lot to proud of. It is a confident step towards the future. Domestically made machines are high quality and safe products, which is their competitive advantage. It is important that these products drive out their competitors, including made abroad, because our machines are better, cheaper and better affordable,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev noted. 

In Starominsky rayon, the processing industry is also showing good results. The Avers Mill is the second top Russian grain mill.
