COVID-19 Won’t Let Kuban Region Of

Krasnodar, 12 August. High coronavirus sickness rate is reportedly persisting in the Kuban region. 

The number of occurrences has for the past week been around one hundred every day. Last weekend, 217 new patients were revealed; on Monday, their number was 97. Because of that, the face mask regime has been toughened in public places and transport. 

At the recent session of the regional crisis centre, First Vice Governor Andrei Alekseyenko ordered that the work of monitoring teams controlling the observance of this rule should be properly set. 

“We can see that this requirement is not being fully observed, especially in public transport. What is more, the drivers, like the passengers, also tend not to be wearing masks,” Mr. Alekseyenko emphasised. 

Deputy Minister of Transport Aleksei Smagliuk reported that all breaches are reported by workers of municipal conveyance services to local mayors. 

Apart from that, over 3,500 consumer sites are monitored in the region on a daily basis
