Hospitality to Be Rewarded

Krasnodar, 7 August. The authorities of Krasnodar krai are reportedly working on the anti-crisis package for the tourism industry. 

A series of aid tools for domestic tourism have already been adopted at the federal level. Considering that health resort treatment and tourism are major industries for the region, it is also looking for the ways to support this sector. 

“In the following year, we are planning to allocate around 480 million roubles to support children’s recreation; 200 million roubles are to be allocated for improvement of tourist destinations and arrangement of tourist events,” Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reported. 

One hundred million roubles are to be allocated for the subsidies supporting the development and repairs of tourist destinations. According to the regional Ministry of Economy, the same amount is to be allotted to organise and hold various large activities aimed at encouragement of the tourist flows. 

Support will also be granted to the organisations specialised in children’s recreation.
