Krasnodar, 6 August. Odes Baisultanov, Deputy Minister of Sports of Russia, together with Aleksei Chernov, regional Minister of Physical Culture and Sports, have inspected how Sochi is prepared to hold the “Ready for Labour and Defence” festival.
The governmental officials visited the Sport School No. 1, which serves as one of the testing centres for the “Ready for Labour and Defence” complex in the city.
When inspecting the school’s infrastructure, Mr. Baisultanov paid special attention to the observance of epidemiological requirements during training sessions and passing the qualifying standards. “It is very important that the athletes and the coaches feel themselves safely, which is why the sanitary and epidemiological norms must be observed in all sport facilities. I would also like to note the significance of the “Ready for Labour and Defence” complex, which received a big feedback of Russian citizens of various ages, Sochi dwellers included. Our task is to keep popularising healthy way of life, and to motivate our people to take up physical culture,” he said.
