Krasnodar, 28 July. During the first six months of the year, the region’s developers reportedly put into service 1.9 million square metres of housing accommodations, which was by 6% more than in the same period of 2019. Thereby, Krasnodar krai remained in the top trio of the most actively building Russian regions, traditionally yielding to Moscow City and Moscow oblast only. Out of the total area of the new houses, 1.1 million square metres fell on blocks of flats – 24,200 flats were put into service during that period, mostly in Krasnodar.
“In Krasnodar, 57 blocks, or 15,000 flats, were put into service. Their total area is about 730,000 square metres, which is by 37% more than in the same period of the previous year. Just in June, 26 blocks of flats were put into service, including several long-delayed building projects,” Vladimir Varekha, Head of the regional Department of Construction, stressed.
According to the press service of the regional administration, 26 long-delayed projects have been completed since the beginning of the year – in Krasnodar, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Goriachy Kluch, Belorechensk, and Dinskaya.
