Krasnodar, 15 July. The stabilised epidemiological situation will allow underage citizens apply for temporary work during their summer vacations.
The total of 124 million roubles has reportedly been allocated by the regional and local budgets for temporary employment of teenagers, the special regional Commission announced. The event was chaired by Vice Governor Anna Minkova and devoted to the issues of employment of teenagers. The money will be spent to open new jobs and pay wages to teenage employees. Until the end of the year, about 24,000 fourteen- to eighteen-aged persons will get a job.
According to the regional press service, the underage workers will mostly be employed by state-financed and private organisations as labourers, couriers, landscaping workers or promoters. They will be doing safe and easy tasks which mostly do not require any vocational training. The priority will be given to kids from families with many children, lone-parent and low-income families, and orphans.
