Krasnodar, 30 June. Last week, the regional leader Veniamin Kondratiev had a meeting with activists of the Young Kuban League. He thanked the youth for their work during the pandemic: Young Kuban League members assisted families with many children, families with special needs, WWII veterans a pensioners.
“The Young Kuban League must be working on a consistent basis, it should become a social lift for the young people, be involved in formation of the policy and influence all spheres in the region,” Mr. Kondratiev stated. “Now the Young Kuban League unites more than 3,000 activists working in 15 local branches. It gets financial support from the authorities; its members win grants allocated by the regional government and the Federal Youth Agency to implement socially significant projects. The total amount of the support has already exceeded three million roubles.”
Daria Krupnaya, a youth activist, recounted about the project management office opened by the Young Kuban League: “There are specialists there that are engaged in organising events, developing the League and giving advice to young people. The League also runs a dancing school, a financial competency course, and a student’s league in cybersport.”
