Krasnodar, 20 May. The production facilities and re-engineering of many business processes have reportedly been duly appreciated at the federal level.
Last week, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov together with Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev visited several factories in Krasnodar krai. Their first destination was the rubber plant in Armavir, where they were introduced with the production cycle, inspected product specimens, and had a conversation with the management and the employees. In 2020, the plant will be celebrating its 90th anniversary – it is one of the oldest enterprises in the industry.
Commenting on the reshaped business processes, Mr. Manturov was quoted as saying that “initially, the daily production volumes [of rubber gloves] were 10,500 pairs; now over 30,000 pairs are produced a day. They are delivered to the frontline of the fight with the coronavirus – to hospitals. I think that the plant has coped with the task, and now it is the biggest national producer of medical gloves.”
He also stressed that the plant is confidently ramping up the production, and that upgrading of the manufacturing processes, cost saving and improvement of labour conditions will definitely help its further development.
