Financial Backup Brings Results

Krasnodar, 14 May. Nearly 2,500 km of local motor roads have reportedly been repaired in Krasnodar krai over the past five years. 

The repair works in municipalities are carried out at the cost of annual expansion of the road fund and participation in a targeted national project. According to the information released by the press service of the regional administration, since 2015 the road fund has tripled and reached 37.7 billion roubles. In addition to that, Krasnodar krai has for two years been taking part in a largescale project, “Safe and high-quality motor roads.” 

In total, 2,488.4 km of street roads were repaired in 2015–2019. The overall cost of the works reached 23.5 billion roubles. 

In 2019, 4.6 billion roubles were allocated in the framework of the national project. The money was spent to renew 250 km of roads in the cities of Krasnodar, Sochi and Novorossiysk, as well as intercity roads. The reconstruction of the bridge over the Abin River in Abinsk was completed, and a new detour road around Oktiabrskaya village, Krylovsky rayon, was built.
