Krasnodar, 24 April. The work of the mobile self-control squads has reportedly been checked in Gelendzhik, Anapa and Novorossiysk.
The squads formed by the resolution issued by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev started patrolling streets of the respective cities on April 1. They are composed of police officers, Cossacks, public activists and local self-government officials. They control how local inhabitants observe the announced self-isolation regime.
The work of the mobile squads was inspected by Vice Governor Sergei Pulikovsky. He was quoted as saying that observance of the constraint measures introduced to cut short the spread of the coronavirus infection depends a lot upon the efficiency of these squads.
“The main task of the mobile self-control squads is not to fine but to make sure that the troublemakers returned back and did not endanger themselves and their people,” Mr. Pulikovsky said
