Krasnodar, 2 April. A new green zone will reportedly be formed in Krasnodar’s Muzykalny residential neighbourhood.
The more than a kilometre long boulevard will be built along the roadway on the right side of Metalnikov street, starting from its intersection with Moskovskaya street towards the Rostov highway. The new green zone will be 30 to 40 m wide, and its total area will be about three hectares. Part of the lindens to be replanted from Moskovskaya street due to the construction of a new tramway will reportedly be planted in the new boulevard.
“This neighbourhood feels a huge scarcity of green zones – as a matter of fact, it totally lacks them,” Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov noted. “Therefore we are analysing in detail all areas to be returned into municipal ownership.”
All relevant documents and the design are to be completed in the near future, so that in 2021 the boulevard would take part in the rating voting on the choice of the territories to be qualified for landscaping activities in 2022.
