Krasnodar, 19 March. Tatiana Sergienko has been working with the Sberbank team for over 25 years. She began as a crediting economist at the Leningradsky branch in her native village. Last December, she headed the 6,500-strong Krasnodar branch. Many of her innovative ideas have been reflected in the services and programs adopted by Sberbank.
Tatiana Sergienko has always been a leader. She graduated from secondary school with a gold medal, and from the Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry – with a diploma with honours. She is awarded with the Sign of a Top-of-the-Class Sberbank Worker, and Medal of Merit.
This delicate lady is responsible for one of the biggest regional branches of Sberbank. In Krasnodar krai, the bank has 612 branch offices, including 148 in towns and cities, and 464 in rural communities.
Tatiana Sergienko’s working schedule is very tough: in addition to analkysing huge volumes of information and building up the working strategy, she has to spare her time for meeting with clients, negotiations, and expansion of business. It is her rule as a manager not to postpone any work for tomorrow, but to value her own and other people’s time.
By her desire to move forward, she inspires and unites other business ladies around herself.
For instance, she recently organised a business breakfast at the Sberbank’s grounds in which 20 female top managers of big companies and business owners took part.
Tatiana Sergienko’s team is one of the strongest in the company. Most of the Sberbank’s innovative proposals and services are piloted at its Krasnodar branch.
She is also the author of the project called ‘The Club of Good Deeds,’ run by Sberbank jointly with the ‘Region of Kindness’ Foundation. This charity auction annually summons over 80 businesspersons, governmental officials and public figures of Krasnodar krai. Over the four years of the Club’s activity, 24 million roubles have been collected to help dozens of children. During her career, Tatiana Sergienko had time to bring up a son. Despite her tough and rich work schedules, she has always had time for her family – and for travelling. She has time for reading and perfecting her English. A banker is a sophisticated trade. It requires high professional level, huge experience, and the ability to analyse volumetric data, to think in a big way, for the future. On the one hand, the banking environment is conservative, discreet, and stable. On the other hand, she must always be prepared for experiments, be able to see something fresh, peculiar and up-to-date. Tatiana Sergienko excellently copes with this task; her motto states, “Luck favours the prepared.”
