Krasnodar, 19 March. Sergei Yegikian was born and grew up in the Caucasus highlands. He studied and worked in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan; then he founded a road construction company in Moscow. Later, his friends presented him a seaside tour – and Sergei felt inspired by the atmosphere of the sunny resort and got a dream to own a seaside cottage.
That was how he decided to start a hotel business, which was a complete novelty for him. At the family council, a decision was taken to name the hotel Grand Noah, in honour of the biblical story about the birth of a new life on the Earth.
For the Yegikian spouses, their hotel became their fourth child. It was Sergei himself who did the design of the hotel – and he did it perfectly, one can say – for centuries. The management of the hotel is based on one unshakeable rule: treating the guests with ultimate care and respect. This rule has helped the hotel remain highly competitive.
“In order to enjoy my business, I must constantly perfect it. And we decided to expand to be able to provide as comfortable family recreation as possible, including for little kids. So that the parents should not be anxious about their safety.
Our campus will become even cosier after the landscaping and installation of a fountain,” Sergei Yegikian promises.
The further development of the Grand Noah project will be in the hands of the young generation of the Yegikian family. Sergei says that he did more than merely built a hotel – he laid the foundation for the family business for himself, his children and grandchildren. In his opinion, this is the main role of the hotel – to found a decades-long family business.
“Whenever it is the whole family – your closest people – that support your business, and all assume their duties responsibly, then such project is destined for success,” Sergei assures.
