Krasnodar, 10 January – Yug Times. Many people are now placing on Internet photos of tins branded as well-known sweets and drinks, but which in fact are candies with a huge content of synthetic nicotine. 

“Disguising them as wellknown brands, their producers misguide the customers that may not even know what they bought and give these dangerous sweets to their kids, and get teenagers hooked on nicotine disguised as known and safe product,” State Duma deputy Natalia Kostenko noted. 

Currently the draft bill banning nicotine-containing sweeties developed by Kostenko is being considered by the Duma’s Health Care Committee. 

The Kuban deputy also proposed to set up administrative liability for getting minors involved in promotion of snuses and nicotine sweets at school.
