‘Swallow’ Trains to Terminate Short of Sochi

Krasnodar, 26 November – Yug Times. In January – April 2020, the timetable of the trains heading to Sochi from Krasnodar will change.

The change is related to the large-scale renovation of the railway infrastructure along the span between Chinary and Chilipsi stations. This is why, from 14 January until 27 April, 2020 the service of long-distance passenger trains between Krasnodar and Tuapse via Goriachy Kluch and commuter trains between Goriachy Kluch and Tuapse will be suspended. The long-distance trains will be taking different routes. The number of passenger trains plying between Rostov and Adler will not change, but the timetable may vary.

For the period of renovation works, the service of popular commuter trains known as ‘Swallow’ from Krasnodar to Sochi will be terminated. The Rostov – Tuapse train will terminate in Krasnodar. The trains from Krasnodar to Adler and Rosa Khutor will be plying from Tuapse.
