Krasnodar, 12 November – Yug Times. The electric power pylons at Solnechnaya street in Krasnodar – from Rostovskoe road to Rossiyskaya street – will reportedly be dismantled by the end of November, mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov announced.
“We are now using the ‘clean sky’ principle – all high-voltage lines will be laid underground,” he said. “The power system and the power supply will become more reliable, and the streets will get rid of the wires. For instances, nearly all high-voltage pylons standing at Solnechnaya street will be dismantled to make the excellent boulevard look even better.
In his turn, Andrei Gerasko, director of Rosseti Kuban city branch, added that underground laying of electric mains will provide an aesthetic effect and prevent any atmospheric impacts on the facilities and ensure environmental safety. Pervyshov and Gerasko also discussed the plans to dismantle the pylons at Novokuznechnaya street during 2020–2021, and ‘hide’ the high-voltage line in cables.
When doing so, Novokuznechnaya street will become a valuable alternate for Severnaya street.
